Idaho Senate accepts list of attaches, refers gubernatorial appointments to committees

The Idaho State Senate on Jan. 9, 2025, voted to accept the list of legislative attaches and administered the oath of office to the new attaches. The chamber also received several gubernatorial appointment letters that were referred to standing committees for confirmation, and President Scott Biedtke signed an enrolled House Concurrent Resolution before adjourning until 10:15 a.m. on Jan. 10, 2025.

The roll call at the start of the session showed 33 senators present and two absent, with Senator O'Conowitz formally excused. Senator Den Hartog moved to accept the list of attaches whose names were then read aloud by the secretary.
