The Yuma Union High School District on Jan. 8 approved its combined 2025–26 course catalog, an interactive digital “flip book” that consolidates core academic courses and career and technical education offerings and includes clickable links, QR codes and school-by-school program listings.
District curriculum and communications staff described the product as a magazine-style, interactive resource that lists course descriptions, fees, dual-enrollment status, NCAA eligibility and other logistical details. The digital catalog includes a table of contents with clickable links to sections such as CTE programs, core courses and feature articles; the district said the document is mobile-friendly and will convert to a single-page view on mobile devices.
Presenters said the catalog is 136 pages in combined content and will be posted on the district website and each school site. Staff noted the catalog is currently only in English; a PDF and a link to a Spanish translation tool will be provided after the meeting. The board moved and seconded approval; the motion carried unanimously.
"The idea was that we were making it look like a magazine slash college course catalog," one presenter said, adding that the interactive layout is intended to make it easier for students and families to explore offerings and make course decisions.
