Staff said there are leftover funds from plaza construction and mentioned the Town Council had approved funds for at least one roundabout monument via a general-obligation bond; board members emphasized a preference for a “do it once, high quality” approach rather than lower-cost, short-lived materials. Material intent discussed included metal made to resemble wood so the monument resists weathering.
No formal purchase or funding decision occurred during the meeting; staff said they will return with pricing for further discussion.
