Gardner announces summer-recreation registration, library programs, transfer-station collection and Elks bingo fundraiser

The mayor highlighted several library programs at the Levi Haywood Memorial Library: decluttering workshops by Susan McCarthy of A Less Cluttered Life (Jan. 11, Jan. 25, Feb. 8, Feb. 22), a hot-cocoa party for ages 3–7 on Feb. 1 at 11 a.m., and a new teen program for ages 12–18. He also said the library is exhibiting mixed-media works by Bianca Scott during regular hours.
The mayor promoted an Elks Lodge No. 1426 “bingo for a cause” on Jan. 19 at 1 p.m. to support the Cancer Fund of Central Mass. He thanked the Elks for ongoing volunteerism and support across the Gardner community.
