- Minutes: The council approved the minutes of the Dec. 11, 2024 meeting. Councilor Flynn recorded a single “nay” during the voice vote but the chair declared the ayes had it; the minutes were approved.
- Grant and appropriation referrals: The clerk read a set of mayoral messages and grant acceptance requests; examples included appropriations related to collective bargaining impacts for Transdev (dockets 0112–0115) and grants to the Office of Workforce Development, Fire Department hazardous materials teams, and police department domestic violence response (dockets 0116–0119). These dockets were referred to the Committee on Ways & Means, Labor & Workforce, Public Safety and other standing committees as announced.
