Sedro-Woolley council approves committee assignments with one dissent

The Sedro-Woolley City Council voted to approve standing council committee assignments as presented, with one council member dissenting.

The council approved the slate of committee appointments after a brief discussion about whether assignments should remain in place for two years. Councilwoman Kesty moved to approve the committee appointments as presented; Councilman LaVaca seconded the motion. The motion carried with one dissent from Councilman Joe Burns.
