Narberth Planning Commission elects 2025 chair, vice chair and secretary

The Narberth Borough Planning Commission elected Adam Kron as chair, Ralph Middens as vice chair and Jennifer Phillips as secretary during its Jan. 6 meeting, and approved the Dec. minutes by voice vote.

Commissioners began the meeting by approving minutes from December after a brief exchange about timing of distribution; the motion to approve was moved by Ralph Middens and carried by voice vote with no opposition recorded. Later in the meeting commissioners accepted nominations and elected the three officers for 2025: Adam Kron as chair, Ralph Middens as vice chair and Jennifer Phillips as secretary. Each election was completed by voice vote after the nominee accepted the nomination; no opposing votes were recorded on the audio transcript.

The new leadership slate will preside over routine commission business and the ongoing long-range planning projects scheduled for the coming year. Commissioners thanked outgoing member Jim Cornwell for his service to the borough and noted plans to celebrate his tenure at a future meeting.

Minutes and officer appointments were handled as routine business; the commission did not take any additional formal actions on land-use applications or policy at this meeting.

The commission adjourned after closing public comment and a short remarks period.
