Labor subcommittee to interview three finalists for school committee secretary

The labor and personnel subcommittee told the School Committee it has selected three finalists for the school committee secretary/clerk position and will interview them the day after the Jan. 7 meeting.
"We identified 3 finalists, which we are we have invited, here to Wakefield to, interview tomorrow. So those meetings will start will take place tomorrow afternoon," said Kevin, the subcommittee member reporting the process. The subcommittee also drafted interview questions and said it will check references and, depending on committee direction, bring a finalist back for a broader meeting or final approval.
Committee members indicated they are comfortable empowering the labor subcommittee to proceed with finalist interviews, reference checks and scheduling an introduction at a subsequent committee meeting if desired.
