The Wolfeboro Board of Selectmen voted Jan. 8 to award the annual‑report printing contract to Country Press for an estimated $3,250 and to produce approximately 720 copies (20 spiral‑bound) of an approximately 200‑page report. The town will also post an electronic copy on the town website.
Selectmen discussed a dedication for the report and proposed that the main dedication be to the late Sarah Silk, citing her long volunteer service on multiple town commissions (Conservation Commission, Agricultural Commission, ZBA, and other civic work) and her contributions to the hazardous‑waste facility and community quilting efforts. The board asked staff to prepare the cover art and select three photographs illustrating Silk’s community work for the front, back and inside covers.
Staff and selectmen asked department heads to submit annual‑report material promptly so the town can meet printing deadlines.
