"For those reasons, we are not going to have school on Friday. Friday will be a traditional snow day. No NTI. Traditional snow day, Friday, January 10th," the staff member said, using the acronym NTI for nontraditional instruction, meaning remote or alternative instruction will not be held that day.
The official closed the announcement by advising the community to take safety precautions: "Everyone, stay safe. Stay warm."
