Board approves purchase of property to provide Domain Road access for Acadiana High

District staff member Mr. Duggal explained the parcel had been discussed with the seller family for roughly 15 years and that the district recently learned that Rue De Bellet — the current access route — will be shut down for an extended period for bridge replacement. “This would give us permanent access to Domain Road and also for additional parking and egress and ingress for the football game since it is near the football field,” Duggal said.
