Missoula County’s board approved its consent agenda and unanimously approved several reappointments and one resignation acknowledgment during the meeting.
Under the consent agenda, the board approved routine items including a cybersecurity service described in the meeting as “Cloudflare,” a firewall/security software product. A board member moved to approve the consent agenda; another member seconded the motion and the board voted by voice: “Aye.”
The board voted to reappoint a current member identified in the meeting as Kalanick to the board for a new three-year term. A certificate of appreciation was also noted for John Bridal, who submitted a resignation; meeting discussion said Bridal had served for roughly two and a half decades and that county records go back to 1999 for his service.
The board also reappointed Mike Day and Russell Purcell to the Aquatic Invasive Species District board for new three-year terms. Both incumbents told the board they wished to continue serving.
Members reappointed Tony Rollin to the 911 Advisory Board. Staff said they would send a letter encouraging Rollin — and another person mentioned as Ty — to attend meetings and remain engaged; the interlocal agreement governing that advisory body, staff noted, does not allow for an alternate member.
Each of the motions on these items was approved by voice vote with board members responding “Aye.” The meeting record did not contain roll-call tallies or named yes/no votes for these motions.
