Federal grants fund Newport Way and Juniper multiuse path projects in Issaquah

A second grant will fund construction of a multiuse path on the north side of NW Juniper Street from Newport Way to 7th Avenue NW, connecting the existing Maple‑Juniper trail to the proposed Newport Way improvements.
The mayor credited city public works and transportation staff for securing the competitive grants, which officials said are essential to deliver these projects.
