Planning commission elects chair and vice chair, approves 2025 meeting calendar

During the business portion of the meeting commissioners nominated and elected Commissioner Garcia as chair. Vice Chair Kiedis was reappointed to remain vice chair; the commission voted by voice for both positions. The commission also approved the 2025 meeting calendar to hold meetings on the first Tuesday of each month. A commissioner noted a personal scheduling request for the May meeting (May 6), and the commission approved the calendar with that date noted.
At the start of the meeting the commission approved the minutes of the Dec. 3, 2024 Planning Commission meeting with a correction requested to the roll-call paragraph to include an attorney who was present. The correction was accepted and the minutes were approved by voice vote.
