Performers from National Circus Project entertain Rockville Centre fourth-graders

Performers from the National Circus Project put on a circus assembly for fourth-grade students in the Rockville Centre Union Free School District.

An emcee introduced "our performers, Renaldo and Lily," saying they "have been working with the 4th grade all week," and invited the audience to applaud. The program included stilt walking, hoop artistry, a balance act by a duo introduced as "Demistinct King," and a finale in which the performers asked for audience silence to use their imaginations.

The emcee framed the show as a staged program with multiple acts and audience participation. At the end of the assembly, one of the performers identified himself and his partner and their affiliation: "I, well, I'm Renaldo. This is Lily. We're from National Circus Project," and asked the crowd for a final round of applause.
