Cobb County recognizes vendors for five solicitations in Jan. 9 bid opening

Cobb County Procurement Services publicly recognized vendors for five separate solicitations during the county’s Jan. 9, 2025, bid opening, Deputy Director of Procurement Services Stephanie Bryce said.
The bid opening covered one RFP for auditing services for business personal property on behalf of the Cobb County Board of Tax Assessors; one ITB for natural gas supply to county facilities for Cobb County Property Management; one RFP for decedent transport services for the Cobb County Medical Examiner’s Office; one ITB for mobile crane services for the Cobb County Water System; and one ITB for equipment outfitting services for public safety vehicles for the Cobb County Department of Public Safety. Bryce said the county has moved to electronic procurement and is receiving responses electronically rather than opening paper packages.
Bryce (Stephanie Bryce, deputy director of procurement services) said, “This is our first bid opening since we have moved to e procurement and are only receiving electronic responses.” She said staff would still “be recognizing vendors and reading prices where appropriate,” though multiple solicitations listed multiple prices and would therefore only have vendors recognized publicly.
Solicitation 25-6866 — RFP: Auditing services for business personal property (Cobb County Board of Tax Assessors). Vendors recognized: Georgia Group Valuation and Transaction Advisory Services; Platinum Financial Services; Tax Management Associates, Inc.; Trailer Business Services, Inc.
Solicitation 25-6867 — ITB: Natural gas supply to Cobb County facilities (Cobb County Property Management). Vendors recognized: Mansfield Power and Gas; True Natural Gas.
Solicitation 25-6868 — RFP: Decedent transport services (Cobb County Medical Examiner’s Office). Vendors recognized: ATL Bio; NRS Logistics; Serenity Mortuary Transport Service.
Solicitation 25-6870 — ITB: Mobile crane services (Cobb County Water System; annual contract). Vendors recognized: NGT Group LLC; Phoenix Crane Service.
Solicitation 25-6871 — ITB: Annual contract for equipment outfitting services for public safety vehicles (Cobb County Department of Public Safety). Vendors recognized: Dana Safety Supply, Inc.; Diversified Electronics, Inc.; Monster Customs, LLC; Peak Performance Collision Solutions; ProLogic ITS, LLC.
Bryce noted preliminary bid results and bid awards, once approved, are posted on the county website and in the open dev portal. The next regularly scheduled Cobb County bid opening was announced for Thursday, Jan. 23, 2025. The procurement website address read on the record was www.cobbcounty.org/procurementservices.
