Staff asked commissioners whether the intended use was purchase of a new mobile unit and related equipment (for example, x-ray equipment) rather than paying debt. Commissioners said their intent was to fund the vehicle and equipment for the mobile unit, not to pay off existing debt.
Because of mismatches between the application’s listed debts and the board’s intent, staff said they were having trouble drafting an enforceable agreement and requested additional documentation and receipts. Commissioners asked staff to get clarification from the applicant and to re-present the item next week. No final, signed grant agreement was completed during the meeting; commissioners asked for receipts and more precise line-item information before moving forward.
