The Lacey Planning Commission held its annual officer elections at the Jan. 8 meeting and re‑selected its leadership for 2025.
Commissioner Carrie Anne McMichael nominated Jeff Gadman to remain chair; Gadman accepted the nomination. The commission voted unanimously to retain Gadman as chair. Gadman then asked whether Tanya Moore would accept nomination to serve as vice chair; Moore accepted and the commission voted unanimously to elect her vice chair.
The commission chair said the vice chair’s primary role is to facilitate meetings in the chair’s absence and otherwise support meeting administration. The commission formally records the nominations and unanimous approvals at the Jan. 8 meeting.
