LONGMONT, Colo. — The Longmont Historic Preservation Commission on Jan. 2 re-elected its leadership, approved a revised meeting calendar and bylaws language, and set a Feb. 8 retreat to finalize a city historic-survey plan and prioritize potential grant applications.
Chairman Lane opened the meeting and introduced two newly appointed commissioners, Mary Frances O'Day and Sue Henderson, then moved through routine business that included approval of the Dec. 5, 2024 minutes and the annual election of officers. "I don't have anything in particular on my end to report other than, I do wanna take this opportunity to introduce our two new commissioners," Chairman Lane said.
The commission approved a retreat on Feb. 8 at the Callahan House and asked staff to provide a finalized survey plan before the retreat so commissioners can prioritize which neighborhoods and properties…
