Councilmembers also discussed scheduling: one councilmember asked that Gordian attend a regular meeting rather than only a public hearing because some members had not had time to review the packet. Staff said it would coordinate representatives to attend the week after next or to present at the public hearing.
The resolution was presented for discussion; council did not record a final vote during the work session. Staff said Gordian and Nichols Contracting would provide cost proposals and that the council could achieve cost savings if multiple related projects (for example, an elevator and remodeling) were scheduled simultaneously.
