Good Fellowship EMS reports busiest December on record; awarded grant for ATV

Lieutenant Jacob Kirsch of Good Fellowship told West Chester Borough Council the service responded to 209 EMS calls in the borough in December and that December 2024 was its busiest December on record, with 720 total calls.
"In the month of December in West Chester, we ran we went to 209 EMS calls... This was our busiest December ever so far with 720 total calls," Kirsch said. He added that Monday was the busiest day of the week and that 131 patients were transported to Chester County Hospital, 25 to Paoli Hospital, and 53 were not transported.
Kirsch also reported 12 calls at the university in December and 25 calls involving alcohol or drugs during the period. He announced that Good Fellowship had been accepted for an economic development grant that will purchase an EMS all-terrain vehicle and fund training for personnel on the ATV.
