The Greenwood Stormwater Board on Jan. 8 approved routine items including the minutes of the Dec. 11 meeting and the board's claims documents. The board also accepted operations and maintenance (O&M) manuals for Greenwood Senior Housing and Saint Bridal Section 2 and authorized the mayor to sign acceptance documents on the board's behalf.
Stormwater staff reported a billing delay that caused bills to go out later than planned and noted an online portal hiccup that generated customer calls; staff said the issues have been addressed. On project updates, staff reported that the Honey Creek (Bridal) project remains outstanding as the city and contractor are negotiating final quantities; owner Brett remains in communication with the contractor and staff said they are planning to close out the project this quarter.
Each consent item — the minutes, the claims and the two O&M manuals — was approved by verbal aye vote. Board members had brief discussion about claims line items but made no changes. No public comments were recorded during the meeting.
Next steps: staff will continue follow-up on the Honey Creek final quantities, monitor billing portal performance, and provide updates at subsequent meetings.
