Superintendent Dr. Scott Sawyer presented the Assabet Valley Collaborative’s fiscal 2024 audit and annual report on Jan. 8, saying the collaborative received "a very favorable audit" and is on solid financial footing.

Dr. Sawyer noted the collaborative’s programming benefits member districts and that nonmember districts may participate at higher rates. He said the board of directors will continue monitoring collaborative transportation services, which provide out-of-district special-education transportation for member districts including Shrewsbury.

The documents were provided to the committee as required by state law; no action was requested at the meeting.
