Commission acknowledges rerecording to correct document numbers, changes easement title for LC Highland II

On consent the planning commission acknowledged rerecording of a prior resolution/order of abandonment to correct document numbers and to relabel a construction easement as a slope easement for WAB24-002 (LC Highland LLC). Staff said there were no substantive changes.
The Planning Commission unanimously acknowledged a clerical rerecording and title correction for abandonment case WAB24-0002 involving LC Highland II LLC.
Rob Lloyd announced the item. Staff explained the action simply acknowledges the rerecording of a previously recorded resolution and order of abandonment to correct document numbers and to change the easement title from a construction easement to a slope easement. The original resolution and order of abandonment had been recorded on Nov. 18, 2024 as document number 549-9038; the older referenced document number was 548-6425. Staff said there are no substantive changes to the abandonment request and that the item is a consent acknowledgement.
Commissioner Linda Kennedy moved to acknowledge the rerecording and title correction; Commissioner Kate Nelson seconded. The motion passed with no public comment.
The record states the affected area is approximately 2.57 acres of slope easement along the west side of Highland Ranch Parkway, affecting APNs 508-020-042 and 508-020-044. Staff advised the commission that this is an administrative correction and not a new abandonment request; the action was placed on the consent calendar and approved accordingly.
The item is subject to the county’s appeal procedures noted on the record.
