The consent items listed by the clerk and approved by the council included: minutes of the Nov. 19 and Dec. 3 council meetings; payment vouchers; a contract between the City of Tumwater and the Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife for the Phase 4 Bush Prairie Habitat Conservation Plan (HCP) grant; an amendment to an on‑call engineering services agreement with HDR Engineering (Amendment No. 1); Amendment No. 4 to the PBS Engineering agreement for the Percival Creek Fish Passage barrier removal project; acceptance of work by Reed Trucking and Escalation Inc. on Israel Road and Linderson Way; acceptance of work by specialty pavement contractor Mark Oh Marking LLC for the 2024 Citywide Striping Project; and authorization to execute an exception to residency requirements to appoint Dave Shipley to the Historic Commission.
Council member Michael Althauser moved approval of the consent calendar; the motion was seconded by Council member Eileen Swartout and passed by voice vote.
The consent approval moves those contracts and administrative actions forward without separate public debate.
