City staff recommended the resolution to allow the CRA to receive additional county funds for the performing arts center. During discussion Board Member Linda Julian said she was "happy to see that this project is moving forward, and I'm happy to see all of the dollars that are coming in," and credited "our forever chairman, Gilbert" and other partners for securing the funding. Board members moved and seconded the resolution; roll-call votes were recorded as affirmative by Board Member Baskin, Board Member Leon, Board Member Powell, Board Member Wilson, Vice Chair Stevens and Chair Harris. The clerk announced the motion passed.
The resolution authorizes execution of the agreement in the form attached to the agenda packet and acceptance of future county contributions for the performing arts center. The CRA did not identify additional conditions or implementation dates at the meeting.
