On Jan. 8, 2025, the Seminole County Planning and Zoning Committee recommended approval of a preliminary subdivision plan for the Reagan Center planned development, a mixed-use proposal for roughly 110 acres east of U.S. Highway 1792, about 550 feet north of County Home Road.
Joy Giles, principal planner for the county’s Planning and Development Division, told the committee the plan would create six commercial lots and would permit professional and medical offices, commercial space, multifamily housing and a senior-living continuum including assisted-living and independent-living facilities.
