Bellefonte Borough council elects new officers in annual reorganization

Bellefonte Borough Council voted unanimously Jan. 6 to reorganize its leadership, approving an annual rotation of officers that will make Ms. Dan council president and shift other members into new roles.

The change follows a plan, announced at the start of the meeting, for leadership rotation. "Mr. Bernier will step down as council president," a council member said during the reorganization discussion. Council then moved and seconded a motion to approve the slate of officers "as noted," and a roll-call vote recorded unanimous approval.
