City staff told the Sustainability Advisory Board that professional services agreements for both an innovation grant and the city’s sustainability plan have been signed and that kickoff meetings are expected soon.
A staff member said the professional-services agreement for the city’s innovation grant was signed with Pale Blue Dot, a Minneapolis-based group, and that staff had not yet held a kickoff meeting but expected work to start in the coming weeks. “The professional services agreement was signed. So that one's moving forward,” the staff member said.
For the sustainability plan, staff said a separate professional-services agreement — funded with ARPA dollars — had been signed with a Milwaukee-based consultant who will work with staff on the plan; a kickoff meeting was held recently and the consultant is coordinating next steps. Staff said more updates will be available at the board’s next meeting.
