Granite School District staff shows progress on new Cypress school: gyms, pool, CTE spaces nearing finish

A Granite School District staff member provided a walking tour of the new Cypress school construction site, describing progress on athletic and academic facilities and noting remaining work before occupancy.

The district representative said crews have poured concrete for the tennis courts and laid turf in the outfield, and that the pool deck was poured “earlier this week,” with interior pool work and a surrounding pour still to come. The speaker also highlighted interior finishes — a complete gym floor, painting and logos, the commons serving area and kitchen, classroom fixtures and carpeting, and a finished-sounding auditorium with a dividing wall and dressing rooms.
