At its Jan. 2, 2025 meeting the North Saint Paul Planning Commission unanimously adopted the meeting agenda, approved the Dec. 5, 2024 meeting minutes and elected leadership for the year as required by city code.

The commission opened with roll call; the chair noted Commissioners Wise and Gadbois were absent at the roll call. A motion to adopt the agenda was made and seconded; the chair called for a voice vote and recorded the motion adopted with an affirmative voice vote.

The commission then considered approval of the Dec. 5 meeting minutes. A motion to approve the minutes was made and seconded; a voice vote was taken and the minutes were approved with no recorded opposition.

Per City Code 32.08, the commission held nominations for officers. Commissioners nominated Chair Blase for the chair position and Commissioner Wise for vice chair; the commission voted by voice to approve both nominations with no recorded opposition. The chair noted the positions are one-year terms beginning at the first regular meeting of the calendar year.

The meeting adjourned after the commission moved and seconded adjournment; the chair recorded the meeting adjourned.
