Shops at East Shore second submittal moves toward public hearings; applicant absent at DRC

The Development Review Committee (DRC) on Jan. 8 reviewed the second submittal for the Shops at East Shore plat and found no outstanding comments from DRC staff. Gene, the DRC project manager, said he had received approval from the city surveyor and no outstanding comments from city legal counsel. The applicant did not attend the meeting.
Planning staff told the committee the application is tentatively scheduled for the Planning Commission on Feb. 11 and for City Council on March 5. Committee members from police, public services, fire and building reported no additional comments at the DRC meeting.
Because no formal actions or votes were recorded at the DRC meeting, the project remains on its current review track toward the listed public hearings.
