Council approves Revival Inc Studio tattoo business at West Sunset Lane

The Greenfield Common Council on Jan. 7 approved a special use permit and site plan for Revival Inc Studio, a proposed tattoo business to occupy Suite 211 at 10901 West Sunset Lane.
City staff described the proposed business occupying about 170 square feet in the Avery and Birch multi-tenant building, operating under the planned-unit development’s special-use provisions. Staff reported the building’s parking shortage had been waived in December 2021 when the building was previously reviewed; Plan Commission recommended approval on Nov. 12 and no letters of support or objection were submitted.
The applicant did not offer extended public comment; council members clarified operating hours and were told the business will be closed on Saturdays. A motion to approve the resolution and site plan for Revival Inc Studio passed on a roll call vote with all voting members present recorded as voting yes (Alderpersons Juzwicki, Castner/Kastner, Akers, Sarian, Bailey and Zwicky).
Council members welcomed the businesses to Greenfield and recorded no objections during the public hearing.
