Agency staff explains how applicants can download approved plans from online portal

A staff member, a staff presenter, said applicants who receive plan approvals will get an email with links that direct them to the agency's online portal and the approved tab in the digital plan room.

The explanation detailed what applicants should expect after approval and how to access the files. "Once your plans and documents are approved, you will receive an email notification with instructions on how to download your approved documentation through the agency's online portal," the staff member said. The email will contain links that "can be used to access approved documentation and review any plan review conditions and notes." Clicking a download icon will save the selected approved document, including any approval conditions, as a PDF.

The presenter said logging in to the portal requires entering a username and password; after signing in, users will be directed to the approved tab within the digital plan room where they can view approved plans and supporting documents. "Project level approval conditions will be inserted at the front of the approved plan set. You will find any applicable review stamps on each page. Approval conditions may appear on plan sheets and document pages as markups with associated comments," the staff member added.

The staff member also noted navigational aids included in exported PDFs: "Additionally, bookmarks and thumbnails are inserted automatically to assist with navigation." Timing for the notification email and help or support contact information were not specified in the presentation.

The instructions apply to applicants who receive plan approvals through the agency's electronic plan-review system; the presenter did not describe exceptions or alternate delivery methods.
