Taos County commissioners voted unanimously to adopt Resolution 2025-08, updating the county's mileage reimbursement rate for private-vehicle use to 67 cents per mile to align with the rate the state set effective Jan. 1.
County staff presented the resolution as an administrative update to keep county policy consistent with state rates. The packet and staff presentation said the only change in the county policy is the per-mile rate increase from the prior rate (65 cents) to 67 cents.
Commissioners did not raise questions during the presentation and the clerk called the roll for a vote. The resolution passed on a unanimous roll call.
The change was presented as a routine alignment with state policy; staff did not propose other changes to the procurement or travel policy at this time.
