The Norwich City Council on Jan. 6 voted 6-0 to adopt the minutes for its Dec. 2 and Dec. 16 meetings.

The vote was taken by roll call after a motion by Alderman Gold and a second from Alderman Singh. The roll call recorded the following votes: Alderman Nash — yes; Alderman Hayes — yes; Alderman Gold — yes; Alderman Singh — yes; President Pro Tem De Lucia — yes; Mayor Peter Nystrom — yes. The public record notes that Alderman Bettencourt was absent because of illness.

The action was procedural and there was no substantive discussion recorded on the minutes themselves. The motion carried with six affirmative votes and no votes against or recorded abstentions.
