Nevada County supervisors sworn in; Heidi Hall begins third term

Heidi Hall, Rob Tucker and Hardy Bullock were sworn in as Nevada County supervisors during a county ceremony, beginning four-year terms for each.

The oath was administered by county staff and each supervisor signed copies of the oath that a county staff member said would be filed in the clerk's office.

Supervisor Heidi Hall, who was re-elected to represent District 1, said, "I'm honored to be elected to serve a third term as your District 1 supervisor." Hall told attendees she intends to "serve these next four years with professionalism and collaboration and always to put the county and its residents first."

Rob Tucker, newly sworn for District 2, said, "It's such an honor to have been entrusted to serve by the voters of District 2, and I'm really looking forward to working alongside all the wonderful colleagues, the staff here at the county, and all the members of the community." He closed his remarks by saying, "God bless America, God bless California, and God bless Nevada County."

Hardy Bullock, sworn for District 5, thanked county election staff by first name and said he was "honored to serve the District 5 and Nevada County as a whole." Bullock said he looks forward to collaborating with elected and appointed officials and county staff.

The ceremony concluded with brief remarks and an opportunity for photographs. No formal votes or policy actions were taken during the swearing-in portion of the meeting.
