Town to go live Monday with MGO permitting software; staff to hold contractor trainings

A representative of MGO gave a demonstration and timeline on Jan. 7 describing the town's rollout of a single, integrated permitting, code enforcement and work‑order platform. Gina Lawrence, MGO representative, said the town will go live on Monday, Jan. 13, and that the vendor performed a full data import so historical records will be available in the new system.
Lawrence said staff training has been ongoing onsite and that the vendor will host a small contractor soft‑training session the coming Saturday and a larger contractor training later in the evening; she offered 1:1 assistance for residents or contractors needing help with user profiles and permit submission. "We have attached all the necessary forms for each work type so you're not toggling between the MGO platform and the Loxahatchee Groves Town Hall website," she said.
Town staff said some forms were not yet posted publicly because the online implementation is being finalized; the manager told the meeting the forms will appear on the site as part of the new system and staff will assist residents and contractors where needed.
