The Fuquay Varina Board of Commissioners on Monday voted unanimously to rename Dublin Creek Drive to Meadowlark Drive, a change staff said will reduce addressing confusion and help emergency responders.
Planning Director Pamela Davison told the board the name change is proposed because the McLaurin and new Vinci subdivisions will connect and the resulting loop would put different addressing blocks adjacent to each other. "This connection will result in 2 different addressing blocks butting up against each other, which could cause confusion, potentially delay emergency response, and delivery services," Davison said.…
