Morgan County commissioners on Jan. 7 approved several subdivision and condominium-plat changes at Wasatch Peaks Ranch and granted a conditional-use permit for LDMAX LLC, a small aircraft-parts manufacturer, while postponing two larger rezoning requests for further public process.
The actions follow unanimous or near-unanimous recommendations from the county planning commission. Planning staff told commissioners the Wasatch Peaks Ranch (WPR) plat amendments met the county's minimum code standards and that the LDMAX LLC operation could be conditioned to limit hours and any off-site impacts.
The WPR approvals included amendments to add condominiumization for additional townhome and villa buildings in the North Village site plan. Planning staff said the new buildings are already built or under construction under the previously approved site plan, and the plat amendments will allow them to be legally sold as condominium lots rather than only leased.
