Adult long-term care unit reports full staffing; Mary Wolfe returning as elder-center director

Carol Pearson, a board member who presented an adult long-term-care report on Jan. 7, said the unit remains fully staffed and continues to receive referrals. She told the board the department is “keeping busy” with dementia-care specialists providing caregiver tools and “brain checks.”
Carol reported personnel updates: “Mary Wolfe is returning as the LCO, elder center director,” and Lisonbee Cuddy will move back from an interim role to a different specialist role (DCS and INA specialist), Carol said. Carol also highlighted a 2023 benefit-specialist programs fact sheet showing growing caseloads that help explain why staff are feeling increased pressure without additional hires.
Board members had no substantive questions on the adult long-term care packet, and staff said the written report contains further detail on activities and referrals. No formal actions were taken.
