Northampton County Council elects Vargo Heffner president, Gofredo vice president; solicitor confirmed unanimously

After debate, council members closed nominations and voted by roll call. The clerk announced: “Miss Heffner is elected with a vote of 5 to 3 with 1 abstention.”
Nominations for vice president followed. John Gofredo, Jeff Warren and Mr. Capora were nominated. By roll call, the clerk announced that Gofredo was elected vice president by a vote of 5 to 3 with 1 abstention.
Finally, the council nominated Mr. Spadoni for solicitor. Members conducted a roll-call vote that the clerk announced as “Adopted by a vote of 9 to 0.”
