Bowling Green City Council voted to adopt three ordinances on Jan. 9 and moved several other measures forward on first or second reading.
Adopted on final reading: - Ordinance 9246 (amending Section 113.04 of the codified ordinances): adopted on third reading; roll call recorded unanimous approval. - Ordinance 9241: adopted (removed from the table and adopted by unanimous vote). - Ordinance 9243: adopted (removed from the table and adopted by unanimous vote).
Items advanced to later readings or noted for further consideration included Resolution 3876 (appropriation for South Main Street Improvement Project), Ordinance 9250 (AMP Transmission LLC 69 kV assets agreement), transfer of approximately 5.36 acres in Woodbridge Business Park to Bowling Green Economic Development (Ordinance 9250/9251 sequence), annexation and interim zoning ordinances for recently annexed parcels (Ordinances 9251โ9254), and updates to Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) housing policy (Resolution 3,875). Several of those items were designated for second reading; a subset are scheduled for subsequent consideration.
