The Dickson County Board of County Commissioners approved reappointments and a new appointment for the county Planning Commission and reappointed the county’s representative to the Water Authority at its Jan. 6 work session.
Commissioner (unnamed in transcript) presented three Planning Commission seats for action, saying Jeff Chase and Gary Peeler were brought forward for reappointment and that Shane Chandler was no longer in the commission district. The board nominated Randy Ramey as the new member to fill the third seat.
A motion to approve the two reappointments and the new Planning Commission member was made by Commissioner Butner and seconded by Commissioner Gray; the board voted in favor.
The board also reappointed Paula Elazar to one of Dickson County’s two seats on the Dickson County Water Authority. The agenda materials stated Elazar joined the authority four years ago and had replaced Kyle Ruff at that time. Commissioners moved and seconded the reappointment and voted to approve it.
These personnel actions will be reflected in the county’s official roster for the Planning Commission and the Water Authority.
