On the police contract, a staff presenter said the three-year agreement includes wage increases for each contract year and adjusted language on shift change by seniority and other clarifications requested by the police chief. The presenter said the contract places police wages in line with other public-safety unions and ensures salaries are at or slightly above median comparables in surrounding communities. The committee motioned and approved the contract by voice vote.
