Committee recommends AG zoning for North Range Substation parcel after procedural correction
Summary
The committee recommended approval on third reading of a zoning ordinance assigning AG (agricultural) to a parcel in the North Range Business Park annexation after staff said a prior legal notice had omitted the AG designation.
The Public Services Committee recommended City Council approve on third and final reading an ordinance assigning AG (agricultural) zoning to Lot 1, Block 1, North Range Substation, Laramie County, a parcel that was part of the North Range Business Park annexation.
Seth Lloyd of the City of Cheyenne Planning and Development Department told the committee the parcel is one of several annexed with the North Range Business Park and that the original legal notice for the zoning failed to include the AG zone. Lloyd said all other aspects of the annexation have been completed and that nothing about the request has changed since second reading.
There was no developer comment and no public comment. Doctor Aldridge moved to approve on third and final reading; Councilman White seconded. Committee members voiced “aye” and the recommendation will be forwarded to City Council.
