City staff reported the old heat exchanger has been removed and piping prepared; the new exchanger had arrived in Aberdeen and installation was expected to begin in about two weeks. Staff anticipated the project would be completed in February.
Council took a motion to approve the pay request; the roll-call vote recorded ayes from council members present and Mayor Schoneman abstained on the payment to Climate Control. The motion carried.
The approval authorizes payment to the contractor to continue installation work; no additional contract amendments or funding sources were discussed at the meeting.
