District construction update: Coltrane Webb replacement moves forward; GMP amendments presented to board

Cabarrus County Schools construction staff told the school board Jan. 16 that demolition at the Coltrane Webb/Beverly Hills campus is complete and that work is moving toward site development and building construction amid required property and permit actions.
A construction presenter said the board would be asked to approve a guaranteed maximum price amendment for the remaining balance of construction for the Coltrane Webb replacement. “Tonight, we are requesting your approval of the A133 amendment for the balance of construction for the Coltrane Webb Beverly Hills STEM replacement school project in the amount of $30,625,363,” a construction manager said.
