County staff introduced the request and moved the allocation. During the discussion a council member clarified an earlier misstatement of the total amount — the presenter had inadvertently cited a much larger number in error — and the council confirmed the intended total of $203,775. The motion passed unanimously.
No additional appropriation sources were named; the action was described as an allocation from the South Carolina Opioid Recovery Fund in accordance with the state opioid settlement agreement and the county’s strategic plan for opioid abatement.
