County Administrator Mario Formosano asked the council for third reading of the ordinance, which county planning staff recommended. After a motion and a second the council voted unanimously to adopt the change.
The ordinance adds a county review mechanism intended to provide external technical review of stormwater and hydraulic studies; planning staff and the Planning Commission had recommended the measure.
Council members recorded no amendments during the third‑reading discussion. The action is intended to increase technical scrutiny of development plans that include stormwater infrastructure.
Adoption was recorded as unanimous (6–0).
